Yesterday, Honor made it official that the company is going to launch the new Honor X40 series on the occasion of the 9th anniversary. After the announcement, the officials start to reveal many significant highlights of the upcoming lineup. Today, we again got a look at a significant leak and an important highlight of the device.
This morning, the officials have listed the Honor X40 standard edition on JD.com (a Chinese E-commerce site) in which the entire body renders of the device are also included.
As can be observed, the new Honor X40 features a single punch-hole curved display with very tiny bezels. The overall screen-to-body ratio seems very higher. On the backside, the back glass is also curved, which makes the handling experience more premium.
The top-middle of the back side has a black circle-shaped area consisting of two camera lenses and a flash light. The right camera seems like a standard lens, while the second is most probably the depth lens. Inside the circle, there is a branding of “Matrix AI Vision Camera.” In the bottom middle, the Honor branding is mentioned. The volume and power buttons are placed on the device’s right side.
Not only that, but Honor also officially revealed (on Weibo) that the new Honor X40 will feature a curved OLED Display that supports 1B display colors. In the poster, the above side of the device can also be seen, and it seems that it also comes with an IR blaster, which is useful sometimes.
Previously, it was revealed that the new Honor X40 lineup consists of two devices: Honor X40 and Honor X40 Max. As per sources, the max version will be more expensive but feature an LCD Display.
We must wait until the officials reveal more highlights for more information.
