It is known that the all-new Honor X40 will be part of Honor’s upcoming product launch conference, which will be held on September 15. As the launch date is near, many new leaks regarding the Honor X40 are getting revealed. Yesterday, we got a look at the device’s renders, and today some specifications got revealed as well.
This afternoon, the famous blogger @WHYLAB (on Weibo) revealed some live images of Honor X40 in addition to a few significant specifications. There is nothing new or any difference observed in the live photos when compared with the renders (got revealed yesterday).
However, in terms of specifications, the blogger said that this model would feature a large 5100mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. Also, the chipset is expected to remain the same as in Honor X30, i.e., Snapdragon 695 5G. The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and comes with 2x Cortex-A77 (2.2GHz) P-cores and 6x Cortex-A55 (1.7GHz) E-cores.
The blogger also mentioned the OLED Display specifications, but they were already revealed.
As per previous info, the new Honor X40 lineup will consist of two devices: Honor X40 standard version and the Honor X40 Max. The standard version will feature a Dual Rear camera on the backside and a larger single punch-hole OLED display with a higher screen-to-body ratio.
The Honor X40 Max will be a more expensive version with a more powerful CPU. However, it will feature a larger LCD Display as this device lies in the phablet category.
For complete information, we must wait until the official launch event, which is happening on September 15.
