A few months before, iQOO launched its iQOO 10 flagship series, powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. However, the sources are stating that the manufacturer (Vivo) has started working on this lineup’s successor and is expected to launch it in the last month of this year.
This morning, the famous Chinese blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed some specifications of a device, and indirectly he was pointing toward the iQOO 11 series. As per him, the new iQOO 11 series will be powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, expected to be launched in December 2022.
He also mentioned the screen specifications, which state that the new iQOO 11 will feature a new E6 AMOLED Flexible Display with a single punch-hole that supports 1440Hz PWM Dimming for avoiding flickering and a higher 2K+ (1440p+) resolution in addition to 120Hz refresh rate. The specifications hint toward the excellent display quality that we are expected to see in the all-new iQOO 11 series.
As mentioned above, the expected chipset to power this phone is Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The chipset is expected to launch in the last month of 2022 (December), hinting that the iQOO 11 launch will happen between the end of this year and the beginning of the following year.
Previously leaked specifications of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen2 revealed that it will have a breakthrough in terms of performance.
As per leaks, the chipset is based on TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and has the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core, 2x Cortex-A720 High-Performance cores, 2x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores, and 3x Cortex-A510 E-cores. The GPU would be named Adreno 740, a better one than the previous Adreno 730.
Currently, the information regarding the new iQOO 11 series is very minimal.
