It is known that Xiaomi is set to launch its all-new Mi 12T series globally next week. In the same event, the company is also expected to launch other devices like Redmi Pad and many more. Regarding the Mi 12T series specifications, we got a significant leak recently.
As per the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation, the new Mi 12T Pro will feature a 200MP primary camera sensor designed by Samsung and named “Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor.” In terms of detailed specifications, the sensor’s pixel size is 0.64μm; the optical format is 1/1.22”, can record a maximum of 8K videos at 30fps, and supports OIS anti-shake.
Additionally, the blogger also revealed that apart from the 200MP lens, there is a large aperture lens (rumored to be a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4) and an 8MP lens, i.e., an ultra-wide lens.
At last, the blogger also mentioned that Xiaomi is expected to launch two or three models equipped with a 200MP lens very soon in its home country (China). It is worth noting that Motorola is the world’s first brand to feature a 200MP lens in its flagship smartphone Motorola X30 Pro.
In terms of specifications, the Mi 12T Pro is expected to feature a 6.67 inches AMOLED Display with a higher resolution and refresh rate. Inside the phone, the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset has been used, which is now based on a 4nm TSMC manufacturing process and consumes less power than the standard version. The battery capacity is around 5000mAh with super fast 120W charging support.
For complete details regarding the Mi 12T lineup, we must wait until the launch event (occurring on October 4).
