Yesterday, Nubia made an official announcement that the all-new Nubia Z50 Ultra, the top-of-the-line variant of Nubia’s Z50 series, will be released on March 7 at 2 PM (as per Chinese timing). It was expected that Nubia would start releasing the device’s highlights after this announcement, and things went into the same pattern.
This morning, Nubia officially revealed the camera specifications of the Nubia Z50 Ultra. As announced, the new model will feature a triple camera setup. As expected, the camera specifications are strong and can be beneficial in high-level photo and videography.
As revealed, the primary lens is a 64MP Sony IMX787 lens with a 35mm focal length, an aperture of f/1.6, and supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The second lens is another 64MP OIS-supported but a periscopic telephoto lens with a focal length of 85mm for capturing portrait shots.
The officials haven’t revealed the specifications of the third lens. However, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation has revealed that it is a 50MP 14mm ultra-wide angle lens.
As previously stated by the officials, the Nubia Z50 Ultra will feature Neovision UDC Display that comes with fourth-generation under-screen camera technology (manufactured by BOE). It would be a 6.8 inches OLED screen that supports 1440Hz PWM dimming and features a 16MP (f/2.0) under-display camera.
In terms of chipset, it would be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (@3.05GHz), 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 Performance cores (@2.5GHz), and 3x Cortex-A510 Energy-efficient cores.
In the coming days, Nubia is expected to reveal more highlights until the launch event (i.e., on March 7).
