Back in July 2022, OPPO released its Reno8 series, in which all the models were powered by the latest SoCs. Recent reports claim that OPPO has started working on the next generation of the Reno series, and it is expected that OPPO will release the new Reno series at the beginning of next year, as observed through past company practices.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed the specifications of a device carrying the model number: PHM110, and as per the blogger, this model belongs to the OPPO Reno9 series. However, he hasn’t mentioned which model it is (for example Pro or Standard version).
As stated by the blogger, this Reno9 series smartphone features a 6.7 inches OLED Centered Single Punch-Hole curved display that supports 2412*1080p (Full-HD+) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display would also be equipped with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of chipset, the smartphone would be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset based on 6nm manufacturing process and consist of 4x Cortex-A78 cores and 4x Cortex-A55 cores. The chipset lies in the premium mid-range segment and is also one generation old.
The smartphone has a 64MP OV64B Primary rear lens, while the total camera numbers are unknown. On the front, it would feature a 32MP IMX709 lens in the punch-hole. Inside the phone is a 4500mAh battery in addition to 67W fast charging support. The blogger also said this model would be categorized as a thin, lightweight selfie camera-focused phone like Xiaomi’s Civi series.
Currently, there is no news from the official side. However, the official information might be revealed at the end of this year. Further, it has been observed that OPPO usually releases two generations of its Reno series in a single year (one at the start of the year and the second at mid-year).
