It was rumored that Redmi is working on its first-ever tablet device, Redmi Pad; even the expected device also got listed on many certification sites. One month before, the Redmi Pad also got listed on 3C Certification with a 22.5W fast charger and a 7800mAh battery.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed the specifications and renders of the Redmi Pad, in which almost every aspect of the device is included. As per the blogger, the Redmi Pad has an all-in-one Metal Molded design with a four-sided equal-width frame and is gray colored on the backside.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Pad features a 10.61” 2K resolution (2000*1200p) LCD Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400nits brightness. The top bezel has an 8MP camera lens for video conferencing and other purposes. However, it is tough to judge in renders where the camera is placed.
In terms of chipset, the Redmi Pad is powered by the Helio G99 chipset. The chipset is based on TSMC 6nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 2x Cortex-A76 cores (clocked @2.2GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 cores (clocked @2.0GHz). It is also integrated with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
On the backside, we have a single 8MP large-sized lens in a rectangle-shaped module. Inside the tablet, there is a large-sized 8000mAh battery which comes with 18W/22.5W fast charging support. The tablet also comes with Dolby Quad Speaker and runs the MIUI 13 software based on Android 12. In terms of dimensions, the tablet’s thickness is just 7.05mm, while its weight is around 445g.
Currently, there is no official news regarding the upcoming Redmi Pad. However, the Redmi’s first-ever tablet is expected to go official soon.
