A new device from Vivo has surfaced on Chinese 3C Certification, which usually reveals the charging and battery specifications of the listed device. The device carries model number: Vivo V2229A; as per the famous Chinese blogger @DigitalChatStation, this would be the upcoming foldable flagship “Vivo X Fold S.”
In 3C Certification, the charging specifications of Vivo X Fold S can be seen. As mentioned, the device would come with Vivo’s 80W Super Flash charger (carrying model no: V8060L0A2-CN). However, the blogger said that the suspected device also features a standard 80W dual Type-C port GaN flash charging head.
In addition to 3C Certification, the blogger also mentioned the rest of the other specifications of the device. As per the blogger, the Vivo X Fold S will feature a 2K resolution LTPO OLED (both primary and secondary) display, which also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. He also mentioned that the device would be equipped with a dual ultra-sonic fingerprint scanner under the display.
Inside the phone, the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 flagship CPU from Qualcomm has been used. The battery cell’s capacity would be around 4700mAh in addition to 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. In terms of camera, the primary camera would be a 50MP outsole periscopic lens with full focal length; the blogger hasn’t mentioned the total number of cameras.
Last, the blogger also said that the new Vivo X Fold S will feature a red plain leather texture on body and will be one of the strongest folding phones in the smartphone industry. It is worth mentioning that the Vivo X Fold S would be a better version of the standard Vivo X Fold, as judged by its naming.
At the moment, there is no news regarding the phone from the official side, but it is expected that the model will go official very soon.
