Even yesterday, the Product Manager of this lineup also hinted toward the launch of the all-new Xiaomi Civi 2 (on her official Weibo). However, the mystery regarding this model got solved today.

This morning, Xiaomi officially announced that the all-new Civi 2 would be released on September 27 at 2 PM (as per Chinese Timing) at a product launch conference. There is a rectangle-shaped camera module at the top-left that features a total of three camera lenses (two in a large circle and one separately); the primary lens is 50MP.

The phone is most likely to feature an OLED Display as it lacks a side fingerprint scanner, and mostly OLED-equipped smartphones feature a fingerprint scanner under the display. Previously, rumors also stated that this model would feature a Single Punch-Hole OLED Display with a higher resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

It was also revealed that the new Civi 2 would feature the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chipset, the best you can get in the premium mid-range segment. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features a total of eight cores, including four Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores.

Xiaomi is expected to release the significant highlights of its Xiaomi Civi 2 in the upcoming days until the launch event.
